2. Shenzhen Museum

The Shenzhen Museum showcases the history, culture and reform and opening-up of Shenzhen. The museum features a number of exhibition areas, which comprehensively show the transformation of Shenzhen from a frontier town to an international metropolis. In addition to history and urban development, the Shenzhen Museum also houses a large collection of cultural relics, artefacts and natural specimens, providing citizens and tourists with an important window into the history, culture and ecological environment of southern China.

3. Shenzhen Dapeng Soseong

Dapeng Shoucheng is the most historically rich ancient city in Shenzhen, built during the Ming Dynasty, and is one of the few historical and cultural sites in Shenzhen. It has preserved the traditional Lingnan architectural style, and the old city walls, lanes and dwellings demonstrate the ancient way of life in Shenzhen. Every year, Dapeng Sokcheng also organises cultural festivals and celebrations to promote local history and culture.

4. Shenzhen Concert Hall

The Shenzhen Concert Hall is a modern temple of music and culture, the city's music and cultural centre, with excellent acoustic design and world-class performance facilities. The concert hall has a unique architectural design, a simple and smooth exterior, and an excellent interior acoustic design with first-class sound and performance facilities. It regularly hosts classical concerts, symphony performances and arts festivals both at home and abroad, and has become a venue for Shenzhen citizens to enjoy elegant music and culture.

5. Wen Tianxiang Memorial Hall

Located in Nanshan, Wen Tianxiang Memorial Hall was built to commemorate Wen Tianxiang, a famous national hero in the late Southern Song Dynasty. The museum exhibits historical relics related to Wen Tianxiang's life story, poetic works and his patriotic spirit. By visiting this memorial hall, visitors can learn about the traditional Chinese spirit of loyalty and righteousness and the historical story of Wen Tianxiang's steadfastness in keeping his temper.
